Tea Cup Exchange #11

Hi Friends,

Recently I joined in on another tea cup exchange at The Enchanting Rose blogspot.  These are always so much fun and I look forward to them every time.  This is my 5th exchange.  You receive a person's name and information on their interests and you send a gift package to them.  Someone else receives your name and sends a package to you.  Beautiful gifts are always sent and everyone puts so much care into their packages, often creating or purchasing that "perfect" gift.  People all over the world get involved and many friendships are made.

This is the package that I received from Jo.  Wow, did I get spoiled.

The person I received my gift package from is Jo Trajillo from Colorado.  One of my favorite states.  Jo was so considerate, going through my blog to see what my interests are.  She found out we have many things in common including our favorite color is yellow, we love crafts, antiques, Ironstone and decorating, etc.  It's so nice sharing the same interests with someone.

I have been quite spoiled throughout the tea cup exchanges I have participated in and the spoiling continued on this exchange.  Jo sent me this beautiful Ironstone brown transfer ware tea cup to go with my farmhouse decor.  I absolutely love it, and the colors are definitely me.  This design is a favorite of hers and I'm so glad she shared it with me.

The creamer and sugar bowl are just adorable.  The warm cream, brown and yellow colors just warm my heart - oh how I love the earth tones.  Aren't they pretty?

Jo chose this tea as it was made right there in Colorado, I look forward to trying every flavor.

These push pins are just too cute, they will definitely come in handy.  I love the sweet little gift box they came in.

Aren't these pumpkins cute?  These will now be part of my annual decor.  Pumpkins are one of my  favorite Autumn decor pieces.

I love the card she sent.  A fall photo with a religious message, "May you be blessed by the Lord, THE MAKER of heaven and earth Psalm 115:15.  Very nice.

The cookies are delicious.  Unfortunately, I had one before I realized I hadn't yet taken a photo so the bag is a little messy LOL.

The person that I sent a gift package to was Michele at The Nest at Finch Rest.  I love her blog name.  Michelle surprised me by sending me a sweet little gift package back in thanks for what I sent to her.  What a wonderful and totally unexpected surprise that was.  The card is a beautiful Autumn design and the cards are perfect.  They will come in handy.  She also sent some wonderful fall related stickers and a very pretty, scented sachet.  Thank you Michele!  I love everything!

This was another wonderful tea cup exchange and I'm so glad I was able to meet new friends through it.
(Please excuse the shadows in the photos as I was having problems with lighting).

Thank you Stephanie (The Enchanting Rose).

  8. When we were kids my mother had a set of everyday dishes similar to your teacup. We loved them. So entertaining to imagine where the coach was going, etc. I'm so happy for you that you get to enjoy this one. I love all your other gifts too. How thoughtful to put in some pumpkin to decorate with.

  13. What a beautiful fall-themed package from Jo. The white/brown/orange colours match your home decor perfectly. The tea-themed push pins are too cute! I admired the lovely items that you sent to Michele on her blog. She was my swap partner a few years ago and have enjoyed getting to know her better since the exchange.
