A Wintry Blast
It was a cold, snowy day today. We haven't had much snow this winter so I guess we're way overdue. How many weeks until Spring?
This is my Hydrangea bush. I thought they resembled mushrooms with the pointed snow cap.
Interesting how the blue tones show when dusk is setting in.
My wonderful grape vine. Shortly after we moved in we were able to make grape jelly. I'm kind of new at this preserving thing so it was quite exciting (and edible). LOL!!

ReplyDeleteWow you did get some snow, we still haven't seen but a few flurries, nothing that has stuck, and I am not complaining, I am sure we will get something before the winter is over. Love those pictures at dusk, the pretty blue tint is lovely and I especially like the gate trellis! Your snow dog is too cute, looks like she is having a great time in it all!
ReplyDeleteThere is something strikingly beautiful about hydrangea bushes in the snow, isn't there? They almost take on the look of toadstools (to my eyes at least).
ReplyDeleteWe've been getting oodles of snow around these (British Columbian) parts lately, too, and our landscape is much the same. It's so serenely lovely, though I wouldn't mind a hit of summer warmth right now all the same. :)
